Scenes from Saturday’s Woodland Woodcarving Workshop, which just so happened to be the last one of the year. Thanks heaps to everyone who came on Saturday and also to those who attended our workshops throughout the year. It’s been a blast!
It was our third Woodland Woodcarving Workshop of the year on Saturday! Here’s some photos of what went down. Thanks heaps to everyone who came and made stuff with us in the woods; we hope you get to use your new skills on many adventures in the future.
Had to take some film photos of my process for a forthcoming feature. Just got them back from the shop so here are a few.
It was the FINAL Woodland Woodcarving Workshop of the year on Saturday! Thank you to everyone who came along; it was super fun as usual and there were some great finished pieces despite having to dodge a few heavy showers. I’ll be updating the Workshop page on our site soon with details of future dates and special one-off events. Keep ‘em peeled.
We were very excited to get our hands on the latest issue of Creative Review which has a huge piece about our Woodland Woodcarving Workshops, Miscellaneous Adventures and my illustration work. This ‘Summer School’ special is out now. With thanks to Mark Sinclair for the great article.
This is Scout, or Emma Hughes. She works on the workshops, makes all the Secret Stash Pouches, deals with Miscellaneous Adventures admin and embroiders type and other things in her limited amount of spare time. Good job, Scout!
The next Miscellaneous Adventures Woodland Woodcarving Workshop will be held on Saturday July 20th! Join us in the woods for a creative day of carving, chopping and camp craft skills. Places are available to book now here.
Just got back from an epic few days staying in this forest cabin in central Sweden. No running water or electricity, drinking stream water and cooking over fire, snowshoeing and tracking wolves. A true Miscellaneous Adventure.
