Couple of new spoons carved from Hazel.
I’ve written a short how-to on getting started working with wood in the Great Outdoors for my new friends at Korduroy TV. I’ve long been a fan of Korduroy so it’s a honour to be asked to write for one of the best surf and self-sufficiency blogs around. The how-to offers a taster of some of the things you might learn on my Woodland Woodcarving Workshops which I’m currently raising money for on Kickstarter!
I just launched a Kickstarter campaign to help raise funds for my Miscellaneous Adventures Woodland Woodcarving Workshops! I’m trying to spread the word and really need your help to make this project a success; if you want to tweet, blog, share the link about it or even pledge then I’ll be eternally grateful. Cheers!

I get a surprising number of enquiries about the functionality of Miscellaneous Adventures Toggles. A toggle is a simple way of attaching one thing to another securely, whilst still allowing easy access. Maybe this will help clear things up: First, find something you want to attach to your rucksack, belt or wherever. Pass the leather through a convenient anchor point on the object; in this case a mug handle. Then pass the wooden toggle through the leather loop; the toggle is now attached to the mug. Next pass the wooden toggle underneath a strap or similar on the rucksack and then feed it back through the leather loop. Now the mug is attached to rucksack and will not fall off. Brilliant.

More new ones.
